Cruise Itinerary

We will depart at 09:00 AM from Zakynthos Town Port, sailing along the coastline of Tsilivi and Alykanas. Our first stop for swimming will be at the majestic Blue Caves. Located on the northern coast of the island, the Blue Caves are a series of natural arches and caves carved by the sea over thousands of years. The wild white rocky landscape, along with the crystal blue waters, forms a contrast that will leave you speechless. As sunlight filters through the waters, it creates an ethereal blue glow that illuminates the cave walls, resulting in a breathtaking ambiance. The Blue Caves are ideal for diving and snorkelling.

Our next stop will be the famous Shipwreck Beach (also known as Navagio Beach and Smugglers Cove), one of the most photographed beaches in the world. Nestled in a secluded cove framed by towering cliffs, its name derives from the rusting wreck of the MV Panagiotis, a smuggling ship that lies on the shore. In October 1980, the ship was carrying a freight of contraband cigarettes and was pursued by the Greek Navy. Encountering stormy weather, it ran aground in a shallow cove, where the crew abandoned it to evade capture. The sea washed it ashore, making it the centerpiece of this stunning beach.

After our photo stop at Shipwreck Beach, we will visit some secluded beaches nearby and then head to Mizithres, one of the most imposing natural sights in Zakynthos. Located below the lighthouse of Keri, these two huge rocks jutting out of the deep blue waters create a breathtaking landscape. Then, we will sail towards the Keri Caves and the impressive Kamara Cave. Our next destination will be Marathonisi Island (also known as Turtle Island), an amazing small uninhabited island in the bay of Laganas. Marathonisi is part of the National Marine Park of Zakynthos, which is one of the most important spawning places for the Caretta-Caretta loggerhead sea turtles. It has two main beaches with crystal-clear waters and several beautiful sea caves that you can explore with our snorkeling equipment.

Our next stop will be Laganas to watch the Caretta-Caretta loggerhead sea turtles swim in their natural habitat. You will have the opportunity to capture some great photos of the turtles swimming next to the yacht or even get into the sea to swim near them. After our turtle spotting adventure, we recommend stopping for lunch at Porto Roma, a lovely Greek tavern right on the beach with an amazing view, serving delicious Greek dishes. Then, we will visit the famous beaches of Vasilikos for swimming or stop at a private beach in Porto Davias. If you wish, we can also visit St. Nicholas beach for swimming and water sports before heading back to Zakynthos Town Port.
