Cruise Itinerary
We will depart at 17:30 from Zakynthos Town Port, heading south and passing by the beautiful beaches of Vasilikos. Upon our arrival at Cape Gerakas, we will approach the small uninhabited islet of Pelouzo as closely as permitted. Pelouzo is part of the National Marine Park of Zakynthos, one of the most important spawning areas for the endangered Caretta-Caretta loggerhead sea turtles. These amazing creatures are considered to be one of the oldest species in the world and are protected in this area by strict laws from the Greek Government and the European Union.
Mizithres are two huge rocks jutting out of the deep blue waters below the lighthouse of Keri. The two conical rocks are called the Small and Big Mizithra. The surrounding area is equally picturesque, with steep cliffs and crystal-clear waters that provide a stunning backdrop for photographs and a serene setting for relaxation. During the sunset, the sun appears to set between Mizithres, creating a breathtaking spectacle. Once the sun sets, we will head back to Zakynthos Town Port.
